role summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading company in the transport industry. This role offers the opportunity to drive growth and make a significant impact within a dynamic sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Development Manager, specifically within the transport industry.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proven track record of managing and achieving sales revenue budgets.


  • $130,000 – $150,000 + Super.
  • $15,000 Car Allowance.
  • Extremely lucrative commission structure.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Salary packaging.
